The Hatherleigh Heritage Coat is handcrafted from Hainsworth True Heritage REN Khaki, a substantial 100% wool cloth woven in Yorkshire. At approximately 420gsm, the cloth provides warmth, structure and a beautifully traditional handle, perfectly suited to the coat's distinctive double-breasted silhouette.
The understated khaki exterior is complemented by British-made Courtney & Co. buttons, reinforcing the traditional character of the coat.
Inside, the Hatherleigh reveals something rather different. It is fully lined in Papillon Printed lining from The Lining Company, a luxurious 100% viscose twill featuring a distinctive butterfly design. The colourful lining provides a striking contrast to the restrained heritage wool exterior and gives the coat an individual character of its own.
Each Hatherleigh Heritage Coat is individually made to order in our Devon workshop. From cutting the Hainsworth cloth through to construction and finishing, every coat is made with care and intended to be worn and enjoyed for many years
